Durban

hey guys its me again before i start on today i want to tell you about yesterday and Kruger park.  Well we got into the park at 7 o clock in the morning and were all juiced up.  We were all thinking wow this is gonna be amazing and we already had our adrenalin pumping and all that.  But then imagine being about 2 minutes into the park and 2 elephants apear about 60 yards from the van i mean it was pretty amazing.  Well we leave that part of the park and were driving along and all of a sudden the blue vans (Isaacs van) gets messed up and broken so hes stuck in the middle of the park waiting for someone to pick him up for about 4 hours.  The rest was pretty uneventful until the baboons tried to get in our car but i’ve got video of that so i wont go into detail right now.  Well back to Isaac, thirty minutes after all the people that were with him in the blue van got in the other 2 that we were in we 4 lions walk right across the road not more than 20 feet away from his van.  So he slowly reclined his chair and waited for them to leave.  And besides that nothing happened.  The next morning we depart for Durban (where i am currently typing this).  It took us 8 hours to get there and we were all pooped when we finally arrived.  Well tommorow will be interesting we might go swimming in the ocean and all that but until then keep up the prayer we’ve been safe so far.

Thursday,17th the last day of clinics

hey guys its me again, well today we had our last “clinic” although it was more of a scrimmage than anything.  First we had the whole mission team up and playing in the scrimmage but then we got the two different schools suzama and sofunda playing each other.  It was a riot man you have no idea, i mean these guys are natural atheletes and its just fun to watch.  After all that we came back to the hotel and got ready to go to church for the 4th time since sunday.  You know what guys, im actually enjoying church more than i ever have in my life, and its not just because of the singing and the dancing its just simply i have been touched by God during this trip i could swear my life on it.  So thats what happened today and tommorow were heading out to Nelspruit which is where we will be staying when we go into Kruger National Park which is going to be amazing.  Well this is where ill end my journal just make sure that you pray that our trips to all the different areas of South Africa go well and that everyone is safe.

Sorry Everybody

hey guys its me again umm im sorry that i havent been able to blog at all but this computer costs money and all the time i have is being used to write this apology.  The thing is that this is the only internet available in middelburg and its slow as ummm i dont know like a turtle or something, but were gonna get internet this friday and we will be able to copy and paste all of our blogs we’ve been writing then, well until then guys keep praying its being appreciated, ohhh and by the way my main man Chuck Walter and i have just been tearin up on the card table all monday night which is what it is tonight.  Well anyways i guess ill talk to u guys on friday.  Again thanks for the prayer.

Getting Excited!!!

Man ohh man I am getting excited, in just a few hours we have to wake up at 4:30 in the morning and travel to the other side of the world, now thats not a normal thing for a 14 year old to do. Well i still havent packed yet, i know i know its the day before but hey what did i say last time its summer and I enjoy being lazy. Tonight we had our grandparents over and our whole family had a going away dinner.  We all got exactly what we wanted and i got my favorite food a steak. There was a running joke in our family about how this could be our last great meal in 16 days, but who knows maybe there will be some really nice South African food we can all enjoy.  Well this is where i’ll end this Journal, the next time you’ll hear from me i’ll be at the airport (at 5 o’clock in the morning) getting ready to embark on the biggest adventure of my lifetime. 2 days before Africa

There’s two days to go and i am exited, im kinda caught up with doing things like a normal 14 year old would like playing video games, being lazy i mean you know it’s summer i’m entitled to be lazy. Well a lot of thoughts are going through my head right now like whats gonna happen while i’m gone what, what will my friends be up to and how will my family be doing. Another thing im thinking about is the fact that i have no idea what im doing with this whole blogging thing but ill have to get used to it. Well im gonna go and do some other stuff but ill keep whoevers reading this updated on our Africa trip for all 16 days, i guess till then everyone keep praying for us while we’re gone. Thanks
